"The hotel was a bit dated. However it was clean and breakfast was adequate. The spa/ pool was average but clean. The staff were not particularly helpful. A request for a late checkout was immediately met with a response £10 extra charge. When I asked for another towel at the pool, to replace the wet towel, this was denied. Small personal extras could have made this stay feel luxurious but instead it felt like a budget stay."

Apologies that we didn't manage to get everyone's names, but Hannah on reception was amazing at check-in, and Kirsty was excellent at check-out. "The building is in a poor state of repair, sad to see. Window frames are crumbling, fixtures are missing or loose, causing erosion of function."

"We had a wonderful stay. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a great selection. A special mention goes to Rachel at the bar, who was friendly, professional, and made our evenings enjoyable with her warm conversation. "The room was clean and the complimentary beverages were well stocked. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. We ate a light bite in the bar which was good value for the money and tasty. We have stayed before and the air conditioning was not working, this problem has not been resolved and the air conditioning and bathroom fan did not work during this stay. This was a problem with temperatures of 30 degrees outside. The hotel is in a convenient location."

"Hotel is a little dated but room and bathroom were very clean. Fan was provided so temperature was comfortable. Room spacious and will be great if you have dogs. Bed relatively comfortable. Minor gripe is that the shower gel was very watered down so no use really. Other than that it’s a good budget option for this location and I would definitely stay there again."
