"The Thames Head Inn is a great gem. It's about a 1 mile walk from the Kemble train station, I walked alongside the road since taxi service is scarce and had no problems. There aren't any other businesses nearby, so I ate dinner there as well (delicious) and paid for breakfast the next morning (also delicious). "Charming hotel in the center of Cirencester with friendly staff. Rooms are on the small side but have everything you need. Note that there is no A/C but there was a fan in my room that kept things pleasantly cool. There is no lift so rooms may not be accessible for everyone (but they can help you carry your suitcases to the room). "We had a fantastic stay at the Kings Head Hotel in Cirencester. Every staff member we encountered was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel truly welcomed from start to finish. The rooms were incredibly comfortable—uniquely decorated, clean, and a perfect place to relax.
The recently remodeled rooftop bar and dining area was a real highlight. The food was delicious, the cocktails were creative and refreshing, and the atmosphere made it a lovely place to unwind.

"The location, the staff, and the hotel were perfect for our last two nights in the U.K. On hindsight, I should have reserved a bigger room as the bed was full size and a little snug for two. We did request to change it and to our surprise we slept pretty well. The breakfast was excellent (lots of food) and the outdoor seating area and inside pub were very nice."
