"Very clean and quiet en suite room, with breakfast included. I was able to walk to the property from the train station. I also walked to and from the RSC Theater alone and at night. I would definitely stay here again. The proprietor Lucy is a gem."

"The large suite upstairs is great but no lift. Luckily I had help with my luggage during check in and when checking out. The room itself is super roomy. The bathroom vanity area has poor lighting."

"Nice hotel, great location & a comfy room. Only three stars as I had to wait four hours for my room to become available & the poached eggs at breakfast were just about raw."

"My friend & I had a wonderful overnight stay. We were greeted by a warm welcome from Ian. We were able to check-in at 11.30 am. Ian talked us throught the highly efficient in-room, breakfast ordering system. Despite the b&b being full, there was no noise from other rooms (very well sound-proofed). This b&b is only a short walk from the train station & a very short walk to the town centre. We were very impressed with our very clean room (No 2): great layout (double bed & single bed), extra...

"Avonpark House is a very good travellers rest. Comfortable and clean, our room was a reasonable size as was the ensuite. It’s a walkable distance into the centre of town. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Good parking available and an excellent breakfast."

"Waiting for room availability at 4:20? Weird, anyways, the room was good, location was good, walkable to centre. Staff is stretched to cover everything, strange. Did the job. Have to pay for parking on hotel site, crazy!"

"We recently stayed here and had a truly wonderful experience. The room was exceptional—spotlessly clean, wonderfully bright, and remarkably spacious, making it a very relaxing space to unwind. The staff were a real highlight of the trip, always polite, attentive, and eager to help with a smile. Our only minor gripe was that there didn't appear to be a vegetarian option available for the full English breakfast, which would have been a welcome addition to an otherwise brilliant morning...

"There is no one to check you in or ask questions to until after 5 pm or so. The front desk isn't staffed in the morning but I finally found someone cleaning a room the following morning. He told me they would not store my small but somewhat heavy bag for pick-up after 5 pm when a front desk person would be there. I said I didn't mind waiting until 5 pm to come back for the bag. He then changed their excuse for refusing to hold the bag to "we can't be responsible for it". I wasn't asking them...

"Although in an older building, it is obvious the owners have made an effort to keep the rooms updated. Well decorated and appointed large room with large en suite. bath. Friendly service at check-in and at breakfast."

"Standard rooms are extremely overpriced and not at all like the pictures on line! No different to a travel lodge standard room. Breakfast was extremely overpriced for a self service basic breakfast was £48."

"Had a pleasant overnight stay in Stratford. Hotel was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Very short walk to everything to see in Stratford. Had a couple of minor issues in our room that the helpful staff fixed up right away. Couldn't ask for more. Comfy bed and hearty breakfast. Good value all round"

"Absolute disgrace of a place. Myself, my mum and my two children booked here for two nights. The fold out bed was apparently for two people. There’s no way. There was a single duvet on it and only one clean towel on top (three towels in total for 4 guests), so even the staff are aware that it cannot sleep 2 persons. This resulted in myself and my two children sharing the bed and my mum on the sofa bed. The tv flex wasn’t long enough to reach the socket. There was a used plaster, hair ties and...
