"This location has two different brands here: Comfort Inn and Quality Inn. It appears that one brand is more well-maintained, and the price reflects that level of comfort. Located next to the property, in front of the hotel or from the side, depending on which brand you're staying at, is a McDonald's and a gas station, which is supposed to be a truck stop. Across the street, it looked like there was a Subway and a I-Hop. Overall, okay for a quick stop overnight when in Charleston, probably not...

"The room was clean. Could use an upgrade in the pillows. Breakfast was okay. Coffee was Nescafé which I do not like. Adequate parking. "

"Everything was good with this hotel except the noise from the highway. Our room was in the back of the hotel and within 50 feet of the interstate and trucks made so much noise braking to go around the curve. Difficult to sleep. "

"It’s fine for what it was, a room to catch some sleep before continuing our trip at a great price. The ro was clean and the staff both evening and morning were friendly. Outward facing rooms are loud and this was increased due to the road construction going on nearby. No coffee maker in the room was a disappointment but breakfast included downstairs in an under $75 price was a positive. "I love the Embassy Suites because the rooms are very accommodating with the bedroom livingroom style rooms. The made to order breakfasts are perfect way to start the morning. My main complaint about this Emabssy in particular is the parking garage is quite the walk down the street, which makes loading and unloading difficult. With no catwalk to get there in case of inclement weather. I probably will not stay there again because of this reason."

"I think it was circumstantial, but there was a group in the hotel that made my stay very unpleasant. Shared spaces were dominated by this group and they were generally rude. I was enroute to another city and have always enjoyed stopping in Charleston and staying at this hotel. However, this time was simply awful. I wasn't able to take advantage of the amenities, especially breakfast, so I just left as soon as I got up the next morning. Room was fine, clean, but my experience other than that...

"They reserved a king room instead given a two full beds room. And on top of they double booked us and someone repeatedly tried to enter our room at 11:00 at night. Front desk called our room to ask who was in the room. Then they must have changed the key because when we left the room in the morning for breakfast when we came back our key wouldn’t work."

"The breakfast menu was not very good; the eggs were watery, and there was no fruit option. But the worst part was the pillows — they were flat and hard, as if they had been used a thousand times and had no fluff left, like a flattened cake."
