Would stay again ONLY IF they put up blackout curtains on the back side of the building and not just a white translucent shade. Got in very late from a concert and was woken up at 5 am with the sunrise because of the lack of curtain. A cheap fix which would make the stay a lot more enjoyable."

"We had an exceptional one-night stay at the Rawley Resort. The location is amazingly beautiful and it's well set up for taking advantage of the scenery. The room was more than we expected and had a lovely view over the water (perfect at sunset). We had one evening meal and it was 10/10 perfect. Couldn't have been happier with the stay."

"We had multiple days with only mild/cold water to bath with. We brought this up multiple times with the front desk and eventually a maintenance person was brought in to sort out the issue. The rooms are dated and the property shows it age. The pillows were extremely thin and we ended up buying a few pillows as we were staying for an extended period. The towels were well used, some of them should have been replaced or tuned into cleaning rags. I would recommend staying somewhere else."

"This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The smell throughout the entire building was unbearable we genuinely had to plug our noses walking through the halls because it smelled like something rotting. For $300 a night, I expected at least a clean and somewhat modern hotel, but the rooms felt outdated, unclean, and disappointing overall. The smell hits you the second you walk in and follows you everywhere. Even the small TVs added to how cheap the experience felt. Couldn’t have been...

"Great property and location in Bala!"

"Based on the price and other reviews, we were not expecting a high end hotel, but also based on reviews, I was expecting a little more than what I got. It was not as clean as I would have liked - sticky residue on my night stand and a shower curtain with brown stains. The only lamp in the room with no lampshade. It was fine for what we needed and the price was very low but I wouldn’t return. "

"The room was really clean and it was great having a full kitchen. It’s in a good location close to horseshoe resort and there’s a spa across the street. One negative is that the pool was newly re-opened two days before we got there and the water was quite cold for kids/us. This should be resolved by now I hope but maybe call to ask. Keep in mind the pool does not carry any life jackets or floaties as far as we saw, so bring some for the kids. There’s also a bbq and fire pit that we saw...

"Staff very friendly and helpful Concerning mould in the pool area Dock not properly working, with no sign Rooms have PAPER THIN WALLS and floors. Everything seems to rattle, could hear people in the hall and doors slamming all the time. Bed tilted while sitting on the edge. Lots of upgrading needed Has potential but it is definitely not there."

"The suites are very dated. From our windows (which didn’t open) or patio (ugly), you could see roof tiles peeling. The main hallways, while clean, are also very dated. It appears that the entire facility is well past its prime and needs to be torn down and made into something new."
