This line was ex-LSWR west of Midhurst, ex-LB&SCR thence to Pulborough. Passenger services ceased from 7/2/55 and the line was closed to Midhurst, but east of there goods traffic lasted until 1964-66.

"There are 3 Adults Myself and 2 young ladies with LD I cannot fault the staff Everyone was very friendly and very helpful Our family room was very nice and big with a big bathroom Beds were comfortable the only negative was it was the room was cold but the temperature outside was very cold so it didn't help. We had a meal in the restaurant which was excellent Breakfast was included in our stay Which again was excellent Definitely recommend "

"Conveniently positioned opposite the Cathedral. Limited parking behind the pub. But on-road parking outside the pub itself. Nicely decorated rooms. Extremely helpful, and friendly staff. Only a short walk to facilities shops/resaurants etc (albeit uphill on the return). Good food at the pub itself. Excellent continental breakfast selection"
