"OK, but some issues! First of all, the hotel is in a pretty good location, Florence’s city centre is all quite close with one another, which made it easy to walk through. Initial greeting with attendants was poor, we weren’t sure which doorbell it was and we pressed a few times and she came in yelling at us, even though we were standing for 10-15 minutes in the peak heat. Most of the staff we were seeing all seemed pretty annoyed all the time. The AC doesn’t work, you’re left with two fans....

"We checked in at the hotel down the street. It’s not a long walk but it is something to note. There was someone who was able to help us with our bags when we checked in but not out. There is a passcode for the front door. There is then an elevator up. After that there is another small door which has a passcode. from there you grab your key. Excellent communication from reception about checking in details and on arrival exceptional service and friendliness.
