"My daughter and I stayed at Public hotel while visiting my son who lives in the east village. The location was perfect for hitting all our fave spots in SoHo, Nolita, East and West Village as well as train access to Brooklyn. Amenities were great and property was modern,clean, and safe. "It was our first time staying at this hotel and it was an excellent choice! Everything was clean, the bathroom was gorgeous, bed was comfortable, and I loved how they provided snacks and water as a welcome gift. Each time we left and came back there was someone to open the door to greet us, and they were kind enough to offer was transportation services or help us look up food close by. Staff was polite and professional. I would love to stay there again someday."

"We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past few years. The location is good. It is near many unusual restaurants and shops. They remember us. This time our plane was late and we had a dinner reservation for our Wedding Anniversary. When we arrived and checked in, the bellman put our luggage in our room for us. The only negative this time was that the bathroom door in our room stuck, and the air conditioner vibrated. This was minor, and we will be back to this hotel the next time...
