I tried to contact the hotel but the phone number wasn't working so I sent a message informing we would be arriving the next day and wanted to confirm our reservation was held for us and that our room would be ready in the morning. I received no response. Upon arrival we were told that the hotel was sold out and a room was not yet available for us (even though we had paid for the previous night). "Fabulous! Apartment was exactly as pictured. View of Westminster and London Eye from balcony was extra special. Plenty of room for family of 5. Close to all transport, shops, restaurants, parks, etc. Grab some waters and essentials from the Tesco around the corner and you are all set. Would definitely return!"

"The Rubens is a fantastic hotel. We only stayed one night, but will definitely stay there upon return to London. The location cannot be beat, only a block or two from Buckingham Palace. The staff absolutely could not have been nicer or more accommodating. They really were fantastic!! The room was comfortable. We had a view of the Royal Mews. Breakfast was amazing. I really cannot say enough nice things about the hotel. Highly recommend!"
