"We had a fantastic stay at the Hilton at Gatwick’s South Terminal. We loved the room - the bed was massive and perfectly comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean with good water pressure and temperature in the shower. The staff were very friendly too, but the highlight for us was the breakfast. At breakfast there was a huge selection of breads, pastries, cereals, nuts and seeds, yoghurts and fruit, hot and cold drinks, cooked food and we especially appreciated the deli with salads, cheeses...

"La ubicación es excepcional, el personal es muy amable y profesional,estamos muy agradecidos porque nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Lo unico no tan bueno es el estado de las habitaciones, se las ve bastante viejas y les falta actualización. Cortinas viejas, cuarto de baño muy viejo, moqueta en el suelo muy antigua. Si embargo lo recomendaremos por el fantástico personal, por su trato agradable tan o en el checkin como en los desayunos. La limpieza de habitación estaba muy bien realizada....

"Very comfortable and clean. No automatic airport shuffle on site (there is an tube station nearby) - need to book from a stand separately. Booking uber is cheaper. Room was very clean but the fridge wasn't working. The shower is great - water does spread to the floor as it's not contained in the stall. The staff were very friendly and helpful (Jack & Pedro). All in all a good stay and would return."

"The designer of the bathroom should be fired! The bathroom counter is small, then the designer chose to install a massive sink that takes up 90% of the counter top area. This leaves no room for any tiolteries at all. Very frustrating. "

"Staff were lovely - reception, bar and restaurant The food was pretty good - fish beautiful, steak cooked well, sauces full of flavour - just chocolate fondant sadly overdone. I love the chilled & sparkling water tap! However, rooms are looking very tired, old and in need of a refurb. Better pillows, USB ports and adding some soundproofing would be good too On the whole great service, food & drinks but poor rooms and sleep quality "
