"Everything was great but there was dirty dishes left in the dishwasher from the previous renters "

"The room was nice, clean and updated - breakfast was a nice touch. But this hotel is incredibly loud. We stayed 5 nights and every single night we battled with excessive noise, doors slamming, loud hallways etc. I understand the staff have little control over its guests, but there was no effort made. We have young children and our stay was exhausting due to the excessive noise and disrespect of others. One other note is the elevator - there’s only one and it’s very slow, and always packed....

"Really nice location, I thoroughly enjoyed walking along the path, looking at the amazing sculptures. Restaurant next door, Riva, had excellent food, great service and a really talented pianist. Location close to shopping, ocean views and grocery stores for bottled water, pop, snacks. Also next door is beer / wine store and BC Liquor store. Breakfast a little disappointing with limited options which is the only reason for a 4, not a 5. I would definitely stay there again."

"We really loved the location of this property. It was very close to downtown . Just off the main street and very quiet. In the back of the property was free parking and a nice fellow at the reception desk when we arrived. He explained how everything worked which was quite simple and everything in our room was clean and in working condition. Just around supper time they deliver your breakfast that you put in the fridge for the morning. It consisted of a muffin and yoghurt and some cheese and...

"The hotel was very nice. It was undergoing renovations so it was a bit disorganized and it took longer than usual to check-in but the staff was great. "

"Despite excellent hospitality does not live up to its price point. There was limited heating during the night, and one simple daily menu for breakfast that was not anything special. Daily cleaning service non-existent so take out your own trash, make your own bed is not what one would expect of a renowned b&b. Water tea and coffee available all day in the dining room is a welcome lovely touch, but we would not choose to stay here again."
