"the room definitely needed an overhead light fixture. it was very dim. the service for breakfast was slow. they appeared to be understaffed. the room was spotless and was cleaned to that standard every day. the television had a very limited selection of channels if that kind of thing is important to you. the staff was very friendly and helpful with my bags and getting a taxi. the location is excellent, right across the street from a tube station and in a desirable part of london. easy access to...

My mattress was lumpy but otherwise the room was comfortable.
The people at reception & the doorman were extremely friendly & welcoming."

"Just impeccable Service in a lovely setting and location. Hotel has a nice courtyard where one can dine. As stated, it is literally a six minute walk to Buckingham Palace. We also walked to the theater district in about 15 minutes. Room is spacious, impeccably maintained, and Service was above reproach. Rather on the expensive side for our taste but it was worth it"

"For my first stay at the Millennium, I was kindly upgraded to a better room, which was a nice surprise. The room was spacious and overall very clean and comfortable. However, the bathroom could have been cleaned more thoroughly, as I noticed a few short black hairs, which was a little disappointing.
The TVs could also do with an upgrade to include streaming services such as Netflix. Having only standard TV channels felt quite limited, especially when spending time in the room in the...

Only minor gripe was that the cocktails then meant a trip to the toilet, which was down in the basement - a bit sketchy navigating the stairs after enjoying a cocktail too many!"
