"I absolutely loved this hotel and the location! The staff was always very kind and very accommodating. I absolutely loved the breakfast buffet, it was well-maintained and everything was always fresh. I loved the hotel room. I only wish there was air-conditioning but other than that everything was great."

"Rude receptionist who barely acknowledged us on arrival, completely disinterested. The room was basic but clean and fine for our short stay of 1 night. The general noise levels are awful, no soundproofing in the walls and constant banging from an internal door along the corridor. There is no temperature control in the room and it was particularly hot weather which made our stay very uncomfortable and difficult to sleep. Would not recommend to anyone and we are very easy going people"

"Nice hotel, good location, spacious rooms, having air con was perfect. Large TV (although screen was dim on one side). Unfortunately the room was tainted by the smell from the shower drain. Breakfast was good. There was a lack of GF options despite asking for some to be provided during the booking with Expedia - I’m not sure the hotels get these, or take notice."

"Great breakfast and very clean room I recently stayed at this Holiday Inn Express and was thoroughly impressed by the room cleanliness, the bedroom and bathroom were fresh and everything felt well maintained Breakfast was a great variety of hot and cold options, everything was fresh and the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again!"

"A large and impressive hotel with great facilities. Unfortunately, we found the bed in our deluxe room uncomfortable and creaky and the room lacked basics such as milk and cold water. The food and drinks were delicious however, and we enjoyed the pool."

"The hotel was a bit dated. However it was clean and breakfast was adequate. The spa/ pool was average but clean. The staff were not particularly helpful. A request for a late checkout was immediately met with a response £10 extra charge. When I asked for another towel at the pool, to replace the wet towel, this was denied. Small personal extras could have made this stay feel luxurious but instead it felt like a budget stay."

"Very modern and clean, close to the University campus, and across the road from Winterbourne House and Gardens. Breakfast was standard, and the on-site car park is a bit small (although there is overflow in the multi-story 100m away). The safe in my room didn't work, though. Overall, a pleasant trip."
