"We have stopped in many hotels and over the past 10 years and this is up there as an absolute delight. The staff are warm and friendly - all on duty over our stay need to be commended for their commitment to ensure guests feel looked after! The room was well equipped and we had a lovely view of the gardens. The breakfast was outstanding. A great base for travelling around Shropshire- such good value for money. Well done all "

"This is a little gem of a place with the rooms opposite the pub, they could not do enough for us from making us welcome to excellent food and impeccable service. If you’re looking for a bit of quiet and out of town so noises to a minimum this is ideal and we couldn’t recommend anything better, there was nothing to fault. "Staff were friendly. Had the three course Sunday dinner in the restaurant which was lovely. The bar had wood burners so was nice and snug. The room was to a high standard. We opted for breakfast in bed which again was good quality and generous. Free car parking just off the M6. "

"For £60 a night the room was great with a large, clean bathroom and a double bed and sofa bed. The breakfast was included and had plenty of options (no fried eggs of that is a deal-breaker for anyone, just scrambled). There was even a gluten free section. Despite the hotel being extremely busy the staff were very polite "
