"We had a 0600 flight so booked the night before to stay in the LGW Bloc. Reception staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The Bloc hotel location is perfect for south terminal departures, when checking out you fall straight into departure security. The room, we opted for a window which had a great view of the terminal outside and watching the sunrise was epic. The blackout blinds are automatic and the bathroom whilst small is a wet room with decent shower. Thank you and recommended !"

"I liked the location near the motorway - it's a busy golf and leisure club. Car park was full. Very quiet location, rooms spacious but there's no air conditioning. Nice bar where you can get a drink or a snack. Breakfast was nice - service not quite on point"

"Overall stay was okay, venue in itself was clean and well maintained. However there was no restaurant open due to a conference being held, only the bar was open with a limited menu. Food took over an hour to arrive and staff had to be reminded several times. On arrival food was cold and at that point not enjoyable for the overly expensive price."

"Room was clean and tidy on check-in but because it was very hot the room had no AC but they supplied a fan that did nothing to keep it cool. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The bar was well stocked and had all the drinks I needed. Breakfast was delicious and being a vegetarian the vegan full breakfast even included my favourite vegan black sausage. We had dinner in the restaurant which excellent and the waiting staff were attentive."

"We stayed here overnight as our flight was delayed and arrived near the midnight. There is a shuttle at Gatwick platform 9 (south terminal) that will take you to this hotel for £5. The check in was straight forward and easy. The room was super clean with comfortable bed and quiet. Highly recommend for any overnight stay and easy access to Gatwick."

"The staff was pretty pleasant when we arrived. The check-in was quick. I think the only issue that I really had is that one they don’t offer face towels. To wash your face. There was no refrigerator in the rooms and we had a special-needs child, nonverbal and we needed a refrigerator in the room. We had to utilize ice back to keep his food cold. It was a quick stay."
