"I would not recommend staying at Hotel Holloway Birmingham. I travelled from London to Birmingham to attend a close friend’s wedding and expected a comfortable and relaxing stay. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing, and the condition of the room was far below what should be expected from any hotel. The toilet door lock was broken, compromising privacy, and the bed sheets had visible stains on them, raising concerns about cleanliness and hygiene. The towel rail was also...

"Struggled to find it at first but it was a lovely room, enjoyed being able to use the TV. Had 2 fans which was needed. When arrived back at the hotel late at night there was no room in the car park but a member of staff moved their car for us to be able to park. Only downside which staff cannot control it is very loud, right next to pubs. Banging all night and fire alarm randomly went off at 1am which gave us a bit of a fright."

"Although the hotel overall is in need of a lot of renovation, (new carpets, decorating, updating the bathroom etc), the bedsheets etc were clean as was the sink, toilet and shower. Unfortunately the television only received a handful of Freeview channels and on the 2nd morning the electric shower stopped working. This is a very tired property and needs quite a bit of money spending on it to bring it up to date. Having said that, it's in a prime location and the staff were very helpful and...

"I stayed in this hotel room and it was ridiculously hot to the point of being unbearable. The air conditioning either didn’t work or was completely ineffective, and the room felt like a sauna all night. I wasn’t able to sleep at all, which completely ruined my stay. For the price I paid, this is unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here until they fix their temperature control issues."
