"I loved my stay at the Oakmoon. I was the only one there for two days, so I had free use of my spacious room, plus the open-plan full kitchen and living room area and the funky little interior patio with hand-painted mural. The house is on a narrow street of mostly private homes and a few bars and restaurants and close to plenty of other restaurants, shops, the marina, cathedral, laundromat, etc. Sarah, the house manager, is friendly and very helpful, if you need anything. "

"The Algar is central to all the local bars, shops and restaurants. The apartments are basic and would benefit from updating but clean and provide a good base. We always chose a balcony view which allows us to eat and drink as we like if we don’t want to eat out, and certainly makes up for any basic amenities.
