"Steve was extremely helpful and personable. We felt welcomed and safe at Westgate. Breakfast was very good! A great place to stay close to the train station and York centre. A great stay! "

"The hotel staff were very nice, the room was large and comfortable. My only complaint is the air conditioning was blasting and it was pretty chilly outside. When I asked to have the heat put on, it was for a few hours then went back to cold. My room on the ground floor look directly to the street so if you want to open your curtains, i recommend you ask for a room upstairs. "

"This room was simple, but clean and the shower was good. The owner gave me an upgrade so that I did not have to share a bathroom. For the price, it exceeded my expectations."

"9月に仕事で3泊しました。部屋の中は「親戚の家に遊びに行った」感じで、居心地良く過ごすことができました。机は狭いですがパソコン1台広げるくらいなら問題ありませんでしたし、WiFiも問題なく接続できました。宿の方も大変親切で、荷物が重かったのにも関わらず、3階まで上げていただいたり、近隣のスーパーマーケットやレストラン情報も丁寧に教えていただきました。駅からも非常に近いので、次回Oxfordに行く場合もぜひまた泊まりたいです。渡辺　拝"

"Very nice hotel. Great communication before and during our stay. There’s not a front desk, but there is a very easy check in process. The hotel was very clean, comfortable and in a nice area. If I ever come back to Oxford, would definitely stay again. "

"We stopped here as it is very convenient to the M40. We loved the charm of the building and the decor of the room we had was tasteful and beautiful ( Stag). Our ground floor room had a lovely open outlook over fields. Large bathroom. We had dinner in the restaurant which we really enjoyed although the hotel was very quiet. The owner could not have been more attentive. Lovely stay and good value for money."
