Great food at lunch - The steak and ale pie is excellent, as are the home cooked chips from locally sourced produce. "I stay at the Glendale regularly to visit my daughter and granddaughter who live nearby. It is a lovely hotel above an Italian restaurant with very convenient access to Penarth train station with regular trains into nearby Cardiff. It has both single and double size rooms and I usually choose a single. The rooms are well appointed with rather basic shower facilities, tea & coffee etc. a very nice full cooked English breakfast is available (extra) and of course there is the very convenient...
