"This lovely remote B&B was located on a scenic hilltop in Kyle of Lochalsh, which is just on the other side of the bridge to Skye. Be advised it can be difficult finding restaurants that are open for dinner at the end of September in this area. Pre-booking is advised. "Beautiful cottage with thoughtful and beautiful decor. Touches like a flashlight attached to the bed frame, heated floors, towel warmer. Lovely views of the sea, This place exceeded expectations, Bonus is that we stumbled upon Red Skye Restaurant right up the road and it was our best meal in Scotland."

"Great location right in Portree. Good food in the restaurant and there are many other restaurants within walking distance. Our room was right at the front of the hotel and there was some noise in the square but it did not bother us and I am a very light sleeper. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Would stay there again. Travelled with family. Room accommodated 3 adults with room to spare. "

"Our room was lovely with a beautiful view over the loch and the Isle of Skye. In spite of being in the middle of a major refurbishment the staff were extremely corteous and helpful and made every effort to ensure our stay was a good one. The room was clean and comfortable with a really good shower and we had a lovely tray of tea, coffee and biscuits waiting for us on our arrival.. We will certainly make a return visit some time in the near future."

"Staying at Gleann an Ronnaich proved one of then highlights of my extended time in Scotland. The extra special touches made such a difference - a face-washer and shaving cream in the bathroom, very comfortable room & lounge area topped off by exquisitely crafted and cooked hot breakfast. Nothing seemed too much for the hosts, and close to town (Portree) too. Highly recommended!"
