"This was our second stay at the Tudor House Hotel. This time we were on a long journey on the way home from a from France and had arrived off the ferry in Plymouth at 6am. When we arrived at the hotel we managed to find a place in the car park and as we were early, we went to check this was ok at reception. "Location and access is excellent. The staff, as ever, were superb and attentive to our needs. Bedroom was sparklingly clean and the bed very comfortable. However, room was very hot and air-conditioning not working (showing Error 004) and the stand-alone heater/fan rather flimsy and very noisy. Also the bathroom was looking a bit tired. But our needs were met and we would stay there again if in the area. "

"Impressive building, super receptionist, who was extremely helpful. Had a super, very clean room overlooking the river and was a glorious Easter weekend. The room was large with a lovely big firm bed and nice pillows. TV, kettle, extra heaters and fan(if you needed them). Double glazed windows and super shower with plenty of lovely hot water. Nice to sit looking at the river in the late afternoon too. On the outskirt of the town so reasonably quiet but easily within walking distance of the town....

"Comfortable room at very reasonable price including full breakfast, which was excellent. Convenient for city centre, cathedral and cricket (my reason for trip). I travelled by train so can't comment on parking. It's an old inn so rooms are not super-modern but have character. It was very warm until I had had the windows open overnight. A fan was provided but I was glad I missed the predicted heatwave a few days later. With windows open there was a degree of street noise, e.g. bin lorries early...

"First time stayed here, nice place, friendly staff, food was great, view of the sunset great. Only negative I would add is just a few areas like some doors or frames need a lick of paint, otherwise defo stay again We stayed here to go to RIAT airshow next day and after visiting Clarkson’s Farm where we met him also"

"Overall it was lovely but the bed was a double with two singles pushed together and our legs kept slipping in between. Also i know it was a very old building but the floor was very uneven and we felt drunk even though we wasn't which was daunting. "
