"The beds are quite comfortable—room is plenty big enough (2 queen studio) with good-sized bathroom with walk-in showers. Could use some sprucing up here and there if they want to get to 5 stars (some corners are worn for ex.) Pool terrace is awesome—could really use some TLC to make it spectacular. An unbeatable spot if you are headed to Petco, hanging in the Gaslamp. Trolley stop is across the street adjacent to a major plaza with a cool vibe Mexican restaurant."

"There’s a PF changs in the parking lot as well as a restaurant downstairs. Their complimentary breakfast and heated pool were definitely the highlight. The only downside to this hotel was the pull out bed was highly uncomfortable and you could feel the springs. If you’re staying here and have someone sleeping on the pull out sofa be sure to bring a thick blanket or something to lay down first. "
