I had a really fun stay at Riu Republica. What I liked most is that the resort really lets you choose the kind of vacation you want.
If you’re in the mood to party, there are lively pools, the main beach entrance area, and lots of theme nights that keep the energy going well into the evening.

"The Barcelo is amazing & beautiful, well manicured on picturesque Bavaro beach! All the amenities you want. The staff are all very friendly; but I suggest you brush up on your Spanish, as most don’t speak english fluently. All the food we had in the multiple restaurants and buffets was very good.
