"Came back to my room on the Wed evening, to find feces sitting in the toilet, and the room smelling. I flushed it down, reported to reception, who just said, Yes, we have a plumbing problem. No offer of changing rooms etc. Next morning, woke up to stinking room, and more feces in the toilet. Checked out a day early because of this, advised reception, who simply said, OK. "

"We had a superior room which was a good size comfortable bed very clean. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Wardrobe a bit small, we had a recycle section in bin, which is great but would have been helpful to state what items were best for this section. Very enjoyable stay would happily use again."

"Hotel is in a great location, short walk from the station and close to the main town. Staff were very friendly an helpful- we were able to leave our case there when we arrived prior to check in and also on the day we was leaving so we didn’t have to carry around town- this was an added bonus! Breakfast was a great variety with everything you needed to set you up for the day. The room was clean and spacious with washing products available and plenty of towels. Very comfortable bed too. Would definitely recommend to anyone and I would be of my hotel of choice if I was to return to Bath. "

"We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The only slight annoyance was that we couldn’t get the air conditioning to work, so had to sleep with the window open, which meant that the gulls woke us up quite early in the morning. We were celebrating our birthdays and the hotel gave us a lovely plate of cakes to honor this! We skipped paying for breakfast because there are so many wonderful bakeries in Bath and the breakfast was on the pricey side. I still wouldn’t hesitate staying here again! "
