"The hotel was a truly lovely, independent hotel. Very clean and welcoming. We booked a small room and requested a fridge which was in our room when we checked in. There was an excellent selection of tea and coffee including decaf and regular Kenco coffee bags which I love. Also hot chocolate and biscuits. The dining room looked out over the beautiful gardens. We had dinner both nights and the food and service was excellent. The breakfast was very varied and well presented with dried and fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts, cheeses and cold meats. There was also a hot buffet and items available to order which were freshly cooked and delicious. I had a ham and spinach omelette and pancakes the second day. There were lots of options regarding milk and juices etc to cater for all needs and tastes. The staff were all attentive and we didn’t have to wait for anything. The room was spotless and good for us with a double bed, we expected a smaller room as that was what we booked. Towels were a good size and nice shampoo and wash. There was no body lotion but I always bring my own. The shower was hot and very efficient. There was plenty of parking available if needed. We were attending an event at Crystal Palace athletics track and wanted somewhere away from the venue. Would definitely stay here again if I was in the area! Thank you for a lovely stay"

"I loved it. Myself and husbands second time there Staff very friendly and helpful Spa pool was great. Spa treatment las were extremely expensive though. Loved the overall experience Did not have breakfast this time"

"Not let down and convenient location for onward travel to ferry/euro tunnel. Seem to have had a problem re motorbike thefts so staff offered location directly opposite reception with cctv camera as storage area for bikes was full."
