"Overall we had a great experience! We did have a little bit of a hiccup with our room, I had a booked a specific layout of the king room & I think it was a little struggle trying to communicate that with the manager at the time. But the A/C was broken in the room that they gave us, so we ended up getting the room we originally booked anyways. Everything else was fantastic. The hot breakfast, pool, location, and the friendly staff."

"We love Kiawah Island and the Sanctuary! It's our little paradise in the South! Sanctuary is at its finest, the room, the staff, the view, the lobby and the grand staircases! Southern charm on point!!"

"If there was a way to leave more stars i would.. legitimately every person on the staff valet/front desk/maintenance team/restaurant and bar workers was a legit pleasure to deal with. Ive never had a more pleasant experience at a hotel/resort. Special shout out to Lizzie who helped my wife plan a bunch of things and was a legit just a ray of sunshine every time we spoke to her..This was our honeymoon and it could not have been better 100 stars out of 5.!!!"

"Great place"

"Great stay!"

"The room had built up dirt in every corner. My white socks were dirty after walking from the bed to the bathroom. There was dust on the room divider wood. We were put in a room along the highway. It was very noisy. The staff was friendly and helpful."

"Stayed here to attend a meeting. Best thing was the breakfast - nice options including bacon, sausage, and delicious egg bites. Coffee available all day. The room included a refrigerator, dishwasher. A little sad that I wasn't staying longer."

"The front desk staff Joanne was extremely rude and aggressive towards me when I went to check in. She made me feel uncomfortable and like they would call the authorities if my dog made a single noise. She needs training on how to treat customers. I have traveled to other best westerns with my pet before and she ruined my weekend making me paranoid to leave my dog in her crate in the room for any amount of time. Mind you other dogs were barking too, yet she came at me with aggression while...

"Just an “okay” stay. The room didn’t smell like it had been cleaned, but I found nothing to indicate it hadn’t been. Just a stale/musty smell. It served its purpose but I wouldn’t stay at this particular location again."

"Wifi doesn’t work."

"I had a Terrible experience with this hotel in the bathroom was dirty towels on the shower area, fresh blood on the sheets and all over the bed , I told the front desk, she told me I need to wait to next day because she is not a housekeeper. I ask for the supervisor and they gave us small sheets for two persons and I had to change my self, but they didn’t gave me pillows cover and it was bloody too,I had a terrible night I don’t recommend this hotel at all."

"Great location with well-appointed amenities. An overall excellent value. The only two things I would caution future guests about are the noise from the two bars located directly behind the property and the lack of soundproofing between units. While neither was a major issue for my husband and me, I do think they're worth mentioning. The bars were particularly loud on Friday and Saturday nights, and we could consistently hear guests in both the neighboring unit and the one above us. If you're a...

"We had the best stay!! Everyone was so amazing, very clean, great location, beautiful views!"
