"I am sorry to say that our stay was unexpectedly very bad. Even as we checked in the property was cold. There was NO HEATING and no HOT WATER. After many tephone calls we were told that the we boiler was not functioing. We were given grossly inadequate heaters which did little to correct the situation. "Great, basic place to stay. I have only ever stayed one night. The gardens are lovely and I particularly like that you can walk to the Plough through the fields (and back via road if dark). Also Blue Diamond garden centre 5 min walk away too. Cambridge park and ride 5 mins in other direction. No breakfast available at Hotel any more. Check in at 4.00pm perhaps the only negative."

"Everything worked, the staff, the amenities, restaurant, bar, check in and out, car park. All very efficiently run and reasonably priced. Tidy and good looking place, perfectly situated to explore Cambridge, right opposite the Botanical gardens and with the Railway station less than a 10 minute walk. Nice breakfast and although we did not indulge, they had a perfectly reasonable evening menu. Would stay again for sure."
