"it’s a nice boutique hotel but the rooms are cozy and not too bad. Also, the hotel is very close to the airport but middle of nowhere. If you have to take a taxi service to Bowmore, which is the town center, for meals, It will cost 40 poundsround-trip. The hotel has a restaurant on site but sort of limited menu if you have any kind of meal restrictions or limitations. It is also close to a beach and has a golf course. The beach is beautiful and such a nice walk from the hotel."

"I stayed here for four nights and absolutely loved it. Fillip, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and genuinely caring, his hospitality made me feel right at home. He’s very knowledgeable about Bowmore village and Islay overall, and always happy to share great local tips. Each morning he personally cooks a delicious hot Scottish breakfast, served between 8 and 9 a.m. at the time you request the night before, such a nice touch. The staff kicked us informed of any possible issues with returning from the island via the ferry. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit."
