"Property is very well maintained. Rooms are clean. Plenty of parking. Breakfast is not included. They have a counter where you can purchase things. They brew Starbucks coffee, but they can't make any of the cold drinks they advertise because they don't have ice at the counter. When you order from the counter, they give you a piece of paper with the total written on it. You have to walk that to the front desk and pay with a credit card. You cannot charge it to the room. "This was an entirely different hotel from when I last stayed...We were safe and not bothered by anyone, but transients (drugs) are definitely housed here. The water and water pressure were great -- but the rooms do not have dishes, coffee makers, nor cookery, and they use too! This location is definitely neglected because of the new location across the highway.."

"We had a wonderful stay at Wayside Inn. Our host, Joe, was very helpful and was a great chef! Our breakfasts were very good and got us ready for the day ahead. Parking was not a problem and the surrounding yard was shady and pleasant. The giant oak in the front is reported to be 200 or more years old. Our room and bath were well maintained. We would definitely stay there again. The Inn also has a great history dating back to the late 18th Century. It is said that George Washington stayed there...

"I probably should have given this a five star but I rarely do that except for off the charts amazing hotels etc. So a 4 from me is practically as good as a five from a practical perspective. Excellent place. Clean, modern, easy access and close to many things. Great staff, rooms modern and clean, ac was quiet etc. stayed one night and was affordable and ideal for it. Only small knock is they had no toilet paper holder. It was fine but that was a first! Other than all fine."

"I appreciated that our lovely room had an outdoor veranda style seating area directly on the parking lot (which was very quiet & remote across from a country field). "I would rate this hotel as "average". Room was very clean but bathtub had been scrubbed to the point of being worn out down to the metal in a rather big area. The rest of the bathroom had been modernized, but not the bathtub for some reason. The bed was comfortable but the pillows on the King-size bed consisted of 4 very small pillows instead of 2 standard pillows--very unusual. "The hotel exceeded our expectations! Modern and very clean. My only issue was with the bathroom sink faucet. They put a sprinklers head on the faucet like you see in some public restrooms to conserve water. Not ideal for a bathroom sink. No other complaints…Nice stay!"
