"The area around Box Hill is beautiful. Some nice little nature areas within strolling distance. Good star-gazing. Staff at the pub were great, as were the locals. Excellent local ciders and ales. Food was great too, great ploughman's lunch. Amazing place to watch the sunset and see the lights of Bath in the distance. "
"People are first rate. The Manor has fabulous decor with amazing antiques,wonderful vintage pictures and unique artwork. A real joy to behold.

"The grounds of the house is beautiful. We wondered around and even walked through the cornfield. The staff was Excellent and went out of their way for anything we needed. My college student son even took his final online exam in the Library which is over 200 years old and the staff gave him a pitcher of water, cookies and a Good Luck note. Best kept secret in the areas."
"Great value hotel in Clifton area, walkable to everything and has available parking. Rooms small but comfortable, no AC but even though hot weather when we stayed a fan provided adequate cooling. Very friendly staff and great breakfast."
