"We had an incredible time at Parador Nature Resort and Spa. The property is beautiful and surrounded by wildlife — we saw monkeys, sloths, iguanas, and so much nature right on the grounds. The pool was fantastic, and the hot tub area was extra hot (which we loved after long days exploring). The staff were absolutely amazing — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. We met so many interesting people from all over the world, which made the experience even more special. Everything is close...

"The view from La Mariposa is spectacular. When you stay here you can expect friendly and helpful staff, fabulous food (breakfast is included with your stay), and the occasional wildlife sighting. We were greeted each morning by curious monkeys and colorful birds, which added another dynamic to our stay that made it unforgettable."

"A superb hotel nestled in the heart of the jungle. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived until our departure. The food rivaled that of high-end gourmet restaurants. From the pool, we spotted red parrots, iguanas, frogs, and much more. I would return here without hesitation."

I saw more wildlife here than on all of the nature tours I went on put together. I saw 3 different types of monkey, iguanas and lots of birds including the striking fiery-billed toucan. "

"What an amazing vacation we had. After 5 days most of the staff had become good friends. It was sad to say goodbye to them. The location is stunning too with 180 degree views of 2 beaches. Outside our room we had a monkey highway as each morning 10 monkeys would walk across the vines outside our room. The wildlife are real happy there as we saw sloths, friendly lizards and lots of monkeys. And last but not least, the food was amazing at both restaurants. We cant wait to return!"

Each one was great, if I had to choose I’d select the pancakes with scrambled eggs. Room was always clean each day when we returned from our daily venture. Dont miss the happy hr by the pool in the garden from 4-6. "
