"Casper at the front desk greeted us and he was so kind and helpful in answering any questions we had or just having friendly conversation. The town was small and quiet as we arrived later in the day, but we got to enjoy the hot tub and sauna on the property which had stunning views. The lounge in the hotel was amazing as well, great place to hang out and drink our coffee on the nice couches surrounded by super cool decor. Our room was very nice, and we arrived to find out we had been upgraded...

"We stayed in a cabin that was perfect, clean, all linens and towels were provided, enough room for everything we needed, nice heat, and fast wifi, all right in front of the lava fields. The only downside is having to walk across the (main) street to use the shower and toilet. They were clean with hot water, so no complaints. They also have tent sites, rv sites with electric/water/dumping, and a hostel. Really cant beat it for being in the heart of Myvatn, not only right next to all the...

"This place is a gem. Located at the front of a peninsula the water views are wonderful. The front desk person was also very friendly and helpful. A couple of recommendations: Enjoy their deck. Very lovely to have a drink and soak in the peace Ask for an odd numbered room, they’re the ones looking at the sea The diner across the street is really good and reasonably priced."
