"Really nice hotel and we really enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful gardens / pool area, however our room was directly above a very noisy kitchen fan which started (and woke us up) before 6.30am and didn’t turn off until 9.30pm."

"A very lovely, friendly and comfortable hotel. Staff were super friendly. Restaurant food was great. À la carte breakfast was also very good but there was no fruit offered which I was disappointed with. Times were also a little tight from breakfast, dinner, room cleaning and checkout but it was a small hotel so this is understandable. I would definitely stay here again. Thankyou."

"Unfortunately not the quiet family park we hoped for. Superior caravan tired but very clean ( apart from the ovens ) Restaurant a bit disorganised possibly due to summer staff new to the job? Lovely goody box for the dog and kitchen and bed linen spotless. Heating in bathrooms and living area didn't turn off. Privately owned caravan next-door had 3 different groups over 3 days 2 of which liked to party. Left after 4 days as exhausted and fed up."

"The hotel itself is looking a bit tired but our room was spotless and clean. The staff were so lovely and helpful. The buffet breakfast was hot and tasty. The location is amazing. Fantastic place to stay if u don't want to spend loads of time in the hotel."

"We made an independent booking with an agent. We were not aware that this hotel caters predominantly for coach parties. There were around 200+ coach party guests and only a handful of individual bookings. Our bedroom, on the third floor, was spacious but had no chest of drawers to unpack clothes into. The room and bathroom were clean, but very old fashioned. There were just two electric sockets which were used for the tv and kettle. No other sockets. Rooms were serviced at irregular intervals....

"The hotel is in a great location, it’s clean enough although things like the stair carpet could be replaced as it’s threadbare, but overall clean. The room was one of the cheaper ones, but it’s definitely tiny and the bathroom is awful, no need for a sink that big in such a tiny bathroom. Other than that it’s average. Sadly, the one star is due to the managers attitude, it’s absolutely disgusting and massively passive aggressive. We were woken by staff late at night as the payment hadn’t gone...

"After a long day of emptying a property, we were looking forward to getting to our room and winding down for the night. Upon arrival into the room, it was like an oven opening up the door. It was 30-degree heat outside, and not one window had been left open to help ventilate or keep the room cool. We had to open our main door to try and let some air enter the room as it was absolutely unbearable to stay in there. Then it was time for a shower. We were sweaty and grubby, and I just wanted a nice...

"The bedroom was a let down quite dated and not hygienic having to leave toilet to wash hands in sink in bedroom Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Rest of the hotel was lovely great facilities Breakfast was excellent value although would of liked more continental such as cheese and cold meat Great location."

"Loved our stay and so did our dog, especially the doggie sausage for breakfast! I made full use of the swimming pool and hot tub and had it to myself. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will come back."

"Room was super hot, and old. Shower was rusty. The bed was the smallest and most uncomfortable bed I've slept in. No one ever available at reception. And to top it all off spent an absolute fortune for one night. Do not recommend at all."

"Got transfwred to spitbank fort for no extra cost , it small with not much to do but a great pla e recommend one night stay rather than our two night as spitbabk is much smaller"
