"Had a couple of nights stay. The hotel is well situated right on the beach front. The staff are very friendly and we had a great stay. Our room was tiny which would have been an issue if we had stayed longer (the room was higher than it was wide!) There is entertainment during the evenings which we had access to, and the noise didnt carry up to the room although our room faced the sea (had an awesome view) so we could hear the revelers enjoying the night on the patio. "The room was clean and tidy, we had a view of the ocean and the Brighton i360. For the price it was more than I expected. Great location with only a short walk to Churchill Square and Brighton Pier. "We’ve stayed at the Old Ship several times, as it tends to be the best value for money. We love the central sea front location (and are prepared to put up with a bit of city noise… the complimentary ear plugs are a nice touch), sea views are well worth paying a bit extra for, and we even enjoy the 100 year old lift …. on the occasional time it arrives before we opt for the stairs instead (it is described optimistically as ‘a bit slow’). Very pleasant staff too. Looking forward to our next stay. "
