"The hotel is a great location, close to everything and literally right on the beach. We have been coming to OC for 15 years it's our first time we stayed here. The only complaint we had was our room was so humid the rug felt wet and when we would get in the bed at bed time the sheets felt damp so that was a bit weird. "The room was mediocre. The bed was not good and the hotel is old. I had a good view of the ocean. Its right on the beach. Lots to do along the board walk.
The toilet was broken when I checked into the room. They claimed it was fixed but it wasn't so maintenance had to come back. The first night we were woken up around 1AM for a fire alarm. So we were just standing out in the parking lot while it rained. I didn't get any explanation of what happened. The next day, I waited until 5pm, then...

"The room was not as clean as it could have been, it needs some updating. The new restaurant by the pool is amazing! Great food and great vibe. The rooms definitely need some TLC. Need to upgrade the kitchen as well. The little fridge wasn’t the best and stove is super old. No safe in the room either which would be helpful. Our balcony door didn’t lock either. Overall it wasn’t terrible but could have been better."

"I just stayed there last week and it was very nice, I like that it is a short distance away from Seacrets, across the street from the beach, and that there is a bus stop near by to take you to the boardwalk. They do have a beach area of their own and a bay view, it is a beautiful view. The rooftop pool is great and gives such a great view of the sunset. I would definitely stay there again."
