"Excelente hotel, muy buenas facilidades y playa. El personal en recepción, servicio a habitaciones, y restaurantes fue excelente, con excepción del restaurante de carnes que entre el servicio, la comida, y lugar sin aire acondicionado fue un total fracaso. Deberían prestar atención a los mensajes enviados por correo electrónico a través de Expedía, y a través del website de RIU. Todavía estoy esperando una contestación. Necesitaba saber si tenían servicio de transporte desde y hacia el aeropuerto. Nunca recibí respuesta de nadie. Una buena comunicación puede hacer una gran diferencia."

"Amazing stuff, very polite and helpful. Rooms are clean, it might need slight upgrades, but overall not to bad. Food is the best in the buffet and Grill. Other restaurants on site food is fresh but don’t be surprised how small portions are. Pool is very clean as well as beaches. Coffee shops is amazing as well as lobby bar and beach bar. Over all great experience and definitely recommend it."

"A little bit dated in places, but a fantastic spot with the adults only infinity pool overlooking the ocean and beach. Lovely view from our room. The larger family pool has lots of shelved areas - perfect for kids of all ages. Lots of choice at the buffet, nice restaurants (Grill and Oriental) but menu stayed the same, snack bars and coffee shop open all day, safe beach with lots of people enjoying the sand and the waves. Super friendly and helpful staff. Would stay again."

"We had an amazing stay at Villa del Palmar Flamingos! Everything exceeded our expectations. We chose the all-inclusive option, and every meal was delicious with plenty of variety. We traveled with our 4- and 6-year-old, and one of our favorite features was the heated pool—it made swimming comfortable and enjoyable for the kids every day. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job cleaning our room daily, and we loved the thoughtful treats they left for us. The entire resort was clean, welcoming, and family-friendly. We had a wonderful vacation and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this resort to families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!"

Marival Emotions All-Inclusive Resort by Mercure

"I booked three rooms for six nights in June 2026 for a family trip to celebrate my parents' 50th anniversary. The age range of the group was 3-90, so it was a tall order to find someone for everyone. Marival Emotions really had it all. It was a 15 minute taxi ride from PVR airport. I was expecting a time share presentation push before getting the room keys at check in. It took a little while (maybe 45 minutes?) and we declined, but it was never brought up again, which I appreciated. We booked two suites and one regular room. We all received the king beds we requested (it is a preference, not a guarantee). There was not a big price difference, but the one bedroom suites all have two bathrooms, a living room, a table and chairs, bathrobes, and a door on the bedroom, which can be important for families. They were worth the extra money, in my opinion. My brother had a spectacular view of the ocean and pool from his third floor suite! There are different floor plans and even though I booked two of the same 1BR suites, they were very different layouts in different buildings. My niece had so much fun at the kids club and children's pool. The staff was really incredible and took such good care of us. Octavio, the concierge, went above and beyond, especially making sure that my parents' (who have some mobility challenges) were able to get dinner reservations at sit down restaurants. I worked briefly in a 4 star hotel, and Octavio is the most amazing concierge I have ever seen!"

"We had are family vacations here. Travel with 13 ppl including kids. Are stay was perfect kids and adults were able to enjoy the stay. They have enough pools for different things kids, adults or just relax. The markets and strip mall down the street was perfect place to go out and get any essentials you needed. Me and my family had a great time here."
