"Always an enjoyable stay"

"Stayed here as I was on business in the area and the hotel had just been added. Check in was easy and I was shown to my room, up 2 flights of stairs, the second of which was a tight, and through to many doors to mention. The room was basic but painting all of the walls white doesn't hide the fact that the hotel is in need of a lot of tlc. I appreciate that it may be a listed building but the inner decor is old and tired and starting to look shabby. No net curtains and both the bedroom and...

"Really nice apartment right in the middle of town. Very comfortable beds and lovely cosy lounge. The kitchen area is also very tidy with all you need to cook for your family. Would definitely stay here again. Only slight downside is the noise from the flats above and below, but this was daytime only noise. We slept very well. Overall very enjoyable stay. "

"I arrived at 9.40 p.m. to a friendly greeting. The hotel is a pub with upstairs rooms, tastefully modernised, excellent value. The Turkish pizza restaurant is almost opposite and open to 11 p.m. An excellent full breakfast provided at this hotel. The staff are genuinely caring."
