"Absolutely stunning. Check in was a breeze, Evgar truly went above and beyond to welcome us. At check in, he booked us a special dinner reservation at The Magna restaurant for my husband's bday. Although reservations are not required, they truly made this dinner special with rose pedalled table, a "happy bday" plaque and a mini cake. The resort has a vast array of restaurants and I was expecting average buffet food, but let me tell you the food was delicious. The resort app was convenient to see restaurant menus, hours of operation and also their dress code. For the most part, casual clothing is required, no flip flops or tank tops. Some restaurants require pants and collared shirts for men.The room was over the top with a jacuzzi, lots of snacks and drinks, and all necessary toiletries, including a toothbrush and toothpaste. Our pool was not at all crowded and had crystal clear blue water. We saw workers treating the pools overnight, and cleaning both the pool and all lounge chairs each morning. The beach view was amazing, and there are plenty of lounge chairs with shade available. Despite the surge of seaweed, it was cleaned off each morning. If you walk down the beach to either side of the hotel, you will find local shops with extremely affordable souvenirs and massages for 1/4 of the cost compared to the hotel shops and services. We purchased lots of souveniers from Carmen and Pedro's shop at "Wal-mart" and also from the shop on th eopposite side of the hotel."
