"We have just arrived home after an excellent weekend at hotel 52. The girls in bar and restaurant could not do enough for us, and the food in rango's was very good. The only downside was as the weather was very sunny our rooms were very warm as there is no AC. But that said we will definitely be back."

"Lovely, clean, and comfortable room. The bed and mattress were of excellent quality, and I had a very good night's sleep. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was fantastic. The portions were generous, and the food was of a very high standard. We stayed in the family room and, unfortunately, there was a noticeable iron burn mark in the middle of the carpet. "Check in was ok, room had everything needed (lots of hot water, hairdryer etc.) It was pretty noisy the one night I stayed there and it wasn’t easy to sleep. Nice accommodation and a good location."

"We arrived to check into an accessible room. No help was offered to navigate a small set of steps to our room. No explanation of the amenities available or what time breakfast was served . The following morning our television didn't work breakfast was £16.95 for full english so we ate elsewhere. On our return after a lovely day out we were greeted with very loud music which all the guests had to endure as the events room doors were left open,so when we had to return to reception as our room key...

"Beautiful place to stay, comfortable, clean quiet and lovely gardens, castle itself is stunning visually, but seemed a little tired in places, corridors and entrances understand lots of footfall but perhaps a fresh scrub and some paint touch up. We had high tea and Prosecco and decided to stay overnight, as it was my birthday.still a very lovely place to stay."

"Basic hotel, but clean room and comfortable bed. Staff really friendly and helpful. Stay included breakfast, but limited really to takeaway style bags in which to take your choices to your room, or sit at small tables in reception. Would probably give it a miss if staying again. Location is in the middle of large industrial estate, so whilst its cheap, and ok just to put your head down for a night or two, it is limited in what it can offer to tourists."

"First visit to Bowes incline and won't be the last.If it was on 4 in bed program I could be hyper critical on a couple of issues but I'm not.I always give a fair and balanced review's and this is what I'm doing,first impression of hotel was clean and well maintained,staff on reception were friendly and welcoming explained breakfast set up and evening meals.rooms are small but cozy for two and well appointed .can get a bit noisy in morning when people going for breakfast with doors...
