"Easy check in at the pub attached to the Lodge. Plenty of free parking. Room basic but comfortable. Kettle and instant coffee available in the room. Nice shower. Basic gel soap provided, no other toiletries. Room was very hot overnight but windows open unlike mist hotels these days. Excellent free Wifi connection. Room not the cleanest, some stains and marks but a good stay overall. "

"This hotel was in a great location for all we wanted to see while in Portsmouth. The coach and rail are both walkable and the Victory and other museums were closeby. The Gunwharf Quays are within walking distance too for shopping and food. The hotel was okay for the price. Our room wasn't the cleanest and there was mold in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet left much to be desired but maybe would have been better if we were there for the start of it. The staff were very friendly and overall...
