"Room was clean and pleasant. Staff were all helpful and friendly particularly Elizabeth on the desk. We upgraded our room to onevinnthe coach house which was quirky and nicely decorated and i really aporeciated the elemis toiletries. Reasonable selection of cold breakfast food and a decent english breakfast. Only drawback is the spa area which is very shabby with many cracked tiles in the steam room and by the pool. There was no hot water in the spa area and changing rooms as the boiler was broken. I chose the hotel partly because i trust macdonald hotels but in this case for the spa! So that was a pity really. I got the impression that they were understaffed that day- it was a Bank Holiday. "

"Very good location, staff was amazing very nice cozy clean hotel. Area is really good close to everything. The only thing is the rooms are so so so small i got the double room with window its for one person no more ."

"Staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. Rooms were clean on arrival and maintained daily. The hotel was well placed for the city centre and had everything we needed for our weekend break."

"Room was eh, very noisy and zero air flow. Smelled very moldy and my nose is stuffed up after in night. Decided to eat local at the restaurant and was a disaster. €60 for two people and was the worst risotto, basically eating straight pepper seasoning, my GF had a burger and was so spicy she was sweating. Then had to wait nearly an hour to get a desert, that tasted very off, like expired tasting. To top it off, not really a reception, so you have to go to the bar, and wait like you are getting a drink and it’s a bit akward. "

"Nice hotel but felt completely ripped off having to pay £7 for parking, especially when the hotel is no where near anything. They tell you it’s £14 and you get 50% off by staying at the hotel but it’s just part of the scam."
