"A lovely hotel with a great vibe
The coffee lounge area is very cosy and relaxing and service is friendly and efficient.
Rooms are well appointed although a little warm on hot nights "
"What a find. On driving up to the lroperty, we were taken back with the beauty. We were apprehensive asnon a univereity site but to need to be at all.
Check in easy and free parking.
Walked through busy bar (2 weddings on) but no issues at all. A little noise heard from room until music finished but was grand.
Our dog also had a super time

"awesome awesome staff. But rooms were a little dated - and breakfast area could do with a facelift. The staff were excellent however and always smiling! Same with the wonderful reception ladies!"
"We had a lovely stay, close to the castle for walking, lovely food and friendly staff.
Sadly due to the age of the building we could here guests in other rooms, due to the squeaking floor boards in our room and other guests room, there was a point during the night we felt like guests where in our room when walking around upstairs.
Other than this which obviously cannot be helped overall a lovely hotel. "
"Myself and my beautiful girlfriend had a fantastic time. The upgraded room was more than we expected and made an already special trip feel even more special.
We have some fond memories now and we are delighted with how friendly the staff were. Not a single bad word to say about this place and we will be back

"Friendly greeting upon arrival, staff were very helpful.
The room was bigger than anticipated which was a pleasant surprise, we really liked how the bedroom was separate from the living area.
We wish there more hooks to hang coats, clothes etc and the bathroom was a little smaller than where we have stayed before as one of us has slight mobility issues so moving around the bathroom was tricky but not difficult. We will defintley be staying again, perhaps try the next size up. "
