"We really liked this hotel. The rooms were decent and clean. We could walk to lots of restaurants. Just a really great location and the cost was very reasonable. Parking at this hotel is valet only and it costs $50 a day. You have to pay to park pretty much everywhere in this area. So we had no problem with the cost. We will definitely stay here again."

"Hotel Mazarin exceeded our expectations. Every staff person we met was pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean and very quiet considering how close we were to Bourbon Street. We were there four nights, and the only night we heard outside noise was on Friday. That had died down by midnight, so we were able to sleep peacefully even with a street view on the second floor. This place is like an oasis in a desert. You can be surrounded by all the high energy sights and sounds and yet escape to the quiet of the hotel. I would recommend this place for its convenience, cleanliness, and old-world feel. "

"The rooms need to be updated. There were scuff marks on the ceiling and the walls. There was a crack in the mirror. The doors for the bathroom and closet were not moving. The pool was closed also."

My room did lose electricity and I had to shower in the dark Sunday morning and could not see to apply makeup. Reported at 6:30 AM, they were still working on it when I departed at 10:00. "
