"Stayed for a quick girls weekend and the property beautiful with a friendly/welcoming staff. The location was great as we had lots of great food options within walkable distance. However, our floor was under construction/ maintenance so it wasn't the cleanest. We were at the end of the hallway and in the corners you can see an accumulation of dust/dirt. The shower was surprisingly small for the size of the bathroom and didn't have a seal on the door so at the end of your shower you would be stepping on a wet mat. Also, by 10/10:30am there were not enough umbrellas on the beach or anywhere to lay down by the pool except for the cabanas. "

"Yes… view was great… location was excellent.. older property built in the 70s and they are clearly not putting a lot of money into it as it appears to be slated for demolition in the near future for million dollar condos by St Regis…needs a remodel to compete with newer projects.. but won’t happen.. could however put more effort into cleaning.. room carpet was dirty .. no reason not to clean those on a regular basis. Beds were OK and got a good nights sleep. "

"Parking was easy, valet service was fairly quick. Staff were nice in all areas, especially the bellhop to take luggage to your room, all extremely nice, helpfuland personable. Rooms were modern, new, and very clean. The food choices could be increased especially for those with food allergies - limited menu options. Limited in dining for breakfast, we were not able to order in-room dining for breakfast as we had hoped all weekend because they only allow five orders per time slot, which is ridiculous for a hotel of this size with over 800 rooms. That was very disappointing. We had a very early wake up call and needed breakfast at 6:00 a.m. and there were no other accommodations available for food allergies as the market did not offer the same food as in-room dining that would have accommodated our food allergies. When I asked the staff for other options no one was able to escalate and provide any other options to accommodate even though they did have gluten-free bread at one of the other restaurants. The pool was also closed for half a day on the day we wanted to use it. We were given credit but didn't change the lost experience and when we asked for a later check out to accommodate they were only able to provide a very short extension, not as much time as we would have liked in order to fully enjoy the property as we had hoped we would."

"This was my second time staying at Maren. My favorite part of the hotel is being right across the street from the beach. It’s close to all the local restaurants and Elbo room which I haven’t visited myself but every time we pass by it’s always packed. Also Sean is amazing, he makes sure you are well prepared for your stay and has loads of recommendations. Would recommend. Small disclaimer. There is construction nearby but honestly not that much of a bother."
