"Couldn't have asked for more. Lovely big room with a sofa and a mountain view out of the window, clean shower room with good water pressure, a nice comfy bed, and Christoph on reception was friendly and helpful. The hotel is only seven minutes' walk from the station - the immediate area around it is a sort of light industrial area, nothing wrong with it but there's not a lot on the doorstep - however there are regular buses into town and you get free public transport as part of the city taxes...

"We were very pleased with the IMLAUER Hotel Pitter Salzburg. It was close enough to walk to the train station, but still very quiet for being so centrally located. The lobby is beautiful and we were warmly and efficiently greeted on check in. The room was perfectly clean and very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable, too. We did not have any meals at the hotel, but thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay there. "

"Easy walk to old town. Multiple food options And shopping if thats your thing. Just cross the road walk through the tunnel and your in the thick of it, thats if you can drag yourself away from the Vietnamese food hut at the entrance to the tunnel."
