"Our check in was at 1500. We got there about 1700 and they told us our room wasn’t ready. We had been traveling all day so it was a little annoying/frustrating we had to wait about 20-30 minutes for our room to be ready as we were sooooo tired from traveling all day. "

We had called about 1-2 weeks before arriving to ask about the amenities and no one mentioned anything about the pool, hot tub or roof work. It was pretty frustrating as we chose this hotel because of the pool and hot tub amenity for our kids. We paid a little extra to stay at this hotel instead of another so...

"Breakfast was good. Made that easy to start the day. Jacuzzi was broken . Manager did take 20 off room so that was nice gesture. Shower was hot then cold then hot then cold . A good place to crash but room was basic. Close to pier which was cool. Next to freeway which was easy to navigate but you are next to a major freeway. I"

"the AC unit did not work and I had to fight with the front desk personnel to get out of the hotel. To make the matter worst, they persuaded me to take a fan or keep the window open and feel as if the AC is working. What a looser. Wasted few hours of my tour fighting to get a refund. "

"This place is immaculate. The staff is friendly, and professional, and on point. The rooms you can clearly tell our newly renovated and not cheaply either. The beds are excellent. And the property is very clean. The location is right downtown Oceanside in very close proximity to the pier, the harbor, the beaches, and entertainment, and food all within walking distance."

"Our room wasn’t ready at 4:00 check in time. Had to wait until after 5:00 to check in. Housekeeping was not the greatest: glasses not replaced for 2 days, coffee & sugar, cream, etc., not replaced, etc., They didn’t answer the phone when I called down to ask for clean glasses & coffee cups. Other than that it was a wonderful property and would stay again. Can’t beat the location! "

"Clean room, clean bathroom, room is spacious and room layout is nice. Quiet area so no noise from traffic. Only noise I heard was from person above me walking around on the 3rd floor. The property is close to places to eat where you could walk in about 7 minutes. I’d say overall I liked my stay. The only real negative I’d say was that they charge you $7 for parking. I have no idea why they would charge this. I think it’s absurd. The parking is an open lot and there’s plenty of parking. When...

"Property stunk like weed and with no AC, made it really miserable to not be able to open windows. The walls are thin so we heard the neighbors above all night long, bed was terrible and while the beach chairs/umbrellas were nice that’s about the only positive I can say. "

"This was my second stay at The Fin. My first stay was lovely. However, this time I brought my daughter with me and booked a double room. Firstly, the television..the screen is damaged and flickers lines and boxes which essentially makes it unwatchable. Secondly, the room is adjacent to neighboring business that play VERY loud music from open to close making falling asleep with constant booming extremely difficult.
