"Room was great! Staff just only the one that I checked in with she saw us and avoided it till another staff came in then she hurry to check us in. But overall was great."

"The location in the old town is the best part of this hotel. The room was very small with no storage space (had to walk around our suitcases) to get around. The shower was miniature with curtain on two sides. The breakfast had very small selection of food. The lady serving the breakfast cafe was very nice, as were the front desk. Unfortunately, the neighboring business was reconstructing and there was lots of noise during the day. However, the evenings were quiet from the construction and the neighbors."

"We absolutely loved this place! The staff were all so friendly and kind. The rooms were nice!! The beds were so comfy! The location was PERFECT. We couldn’t recommend this place enough. One thing to be mindful of, the shower water would randomly change temperature (it would suddenly go ice cold or very hot) and then go back to the normal temperature you set. It was strange. We would stay here any and every time we were in Luzern without hesitation! Ps. Go to “Bakery Bakery” for coffee and amazing treats! "

"Great for the price and great location. The room was small but had everything I needed, and its right downtown, close to a restaurant, a grocery store and water fountain. Its a 10 min walk or less from the train. Great shower and hair dryer. I contacted the property for the wifi info and they helped me quick as well"

"When I read previous reviews I thought they were referring to another hotel. I understand that Switzerland is very expensive and the location of the hotel is excellent. However, the hotel falls short. I was under the impression that climate control meant air-conditioning. I was wrong, the room was hot and there were no options to cool it but open a window to the loud street noise and traffic. The breakfast was disappointing. For two of the three days, there was no fruit, zero! Warm yoghurt, scrambled eggs like rubber, very limited options. Room cleaning was also not up to standard expected of a 4 star (mould in the shower). Staff were ok but no-one stood out. Its been a very long time since we stayed in a hotel without a fridge in the room. I could go on and on."

"The main cafeteria room was not available to go eat in during restaurant operation, there was not really anywhere to eat or heat our lunch (maybe it is only because we took the "cell" room but nonetheless...). The room itself lacks a couple of things, first is shower and toilet privacy with semi translucide walls, the steps to get on top of bunk beds are so small that it hurts your feet, the window is too high for a normal person to be able to access it and open or close it... Good idea but implementation is to be revisited..."

"Our room overlooked the town, but it was covered in scaffolding and tarps, so we didn’t get fresh air when we opened the window and couldn’t see anything out the windows. Otherwise, the location was great, hotel was clean and staff was nice. Beds were a little hard. Housekeeping services were great. The Nespresso machine and water in the room everyday was a nice bonus."
