"Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, and although the bathroom seemed a little worn it was very clean. Breakfast was ok. The rooms we had were an upgrade from the ones we booked, I think. The hotel was situated in a lovely area, with walking available along the river and the canal, and a couple of villages close by, containing decent pubs and restaurants. I would stay there again."

The room was very small, ac with hot air , tried to open windows and sleep but the traffic noise was a lot. Bed was not comfortable pillows were really bad - developed backache and neck ache after the stay. We wanted a room just to sleep after roaming around but didn’t get any sleep.
