"only stayed a night waiting from my fly out of Fiumicino; choose the hotel b/c the very reasonable cost (add to it the taxi from and back to the airport ~ 45 euros each way). The staff was extremely helpful and nice, that is what I liked the hotel most. Be aware : few options to eat near by but drinks/snacks at the hotel cafeteria were inexpensive "
"We loved out 3 night stay at Hotel Miraggio. We rented a guest house that had a living room and bedroom. It was totally accessible on one story with access to a courtyard out front and a green space with lounge chairs out the back sliders. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choices, and we ate lunch a couple of times at the hotel restaurant on the beach where the food was excellent. Beach access was easy and the sunsets were amazing."
"Great location for getting to sought-after sites. Basically, midway between the Vatican and Colosseum (20 mins to each). As the hotel is a block away from a taxi stand, the staff can get you in a cab in 5 mins. Speaking of staff, they were extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive, be it the front desk, rooftop bar restaurant, or room. "The staff went out of their way to accommodate our requests with professional diligence. We also had a wonderful dinner at Mirabelle on property. Conveniently located within reasonable walking distance from the Colosseum, the Vatican, and Spanish Steps. Hotel Splendide was not just a place to stay, but a wonderful experience."

They offer a discounted airport shuttle service that I highly recommend because public transportation to the area is not convenient and a regular taxi from/to the airport is very expensive (€35) for such a short drive. In hindsight, it would have been better to enjoy the last night still exploring in Rome and just take the train directly to the airport in the morning instead "
"Beautiful hotel, however construction nearby going on and it’s dark walking to restaurants nearby felt a little unsafe. Also there is a nightclub nearby they kept me up until 1am every night make sure you don’t get a room facing street. Very expensive too but we couldn’t find much with a one bedroom so our adult daughter and us could have some privacy. "
