"I have rarely used exceptional to review a hotel but the Kames was. We travelled here from New Zealand on holiday and we only had one night but it was exceptional. The restaurant menu is top class, the range on the menu was great and seriously 10/10. I had locally free dived seared scallops from the loch, I had the slow roasted goat shank with lentils - exceptional, and we shared a lemon tart with fresh berries. "Lovely traditional seaside hotel in Largs, ideally placed for the beach. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and our hosts were so friendly and nice. My adult daughter and I stayed for 2 nights with our dogs and we had a fabulous time. Thank you :-)"

"Very easy instructions to get in using the key safe box in the porch. A choice of breakfasts that is sent before you arrive you just had to let Heather have by 8.30 the night before by txting on WhatsApp very easy. Lovely clean room with shower, loo and tv. Great WiFi. Breakfast was delicious and I had different options and Heather kindly stocked up the milks tea and coffee as I was there for 5 days.
